This form of systems management seems highly informed by the Gallup organization’s groundbreaking work, “Human Sigma”—and is yet another example of progress being made in one field after another by rejecting simplistic static models with complex systems modeling. Managing human beings is very different from managing objects. Management theory needs to catch up.
